What is EdWIn?

EdWIn is an online showcase of Internet-based learning activities for the classroom.  These activities have been created by students at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.  These activities are available free of charge to be used in a learning environment. 

What does EdWIn stand for?

EdWIn stands for Educating With the Internet. 

How do I use EdWIn?

There are two ways to search the EdWIn site.  If you have a specific content area in mind, you may search under the subjects of: Health & Fitness, Science & Technology, English Language Arts, Social Studies, The Arts, and Math.  The second way to search the EdWIn site is by using the listing of activities in alphabetical order.  The activities are arranged by topics. 

Who created the activities?

The entire collection of activities have been authored by students at St. John Fisher College.  Most of the work has been designed by Education majors, many of whom have completed the minor in Instructional Technology.
